How long do status credits earned on AA take to post to QFF?

Hi all. Can someone let me know how long after flying on AA that status credits earnt will post to my QFF account? Is it basically as soon as the plane lands or does it take some time? I'm potentially booking several flights over the course of a few days, and considering whether it's worth upgrading to First for the status credits on the first leg because that will get me to Qantas Silver and get me a free bag for all the remaining legs. But there's not much point in outlaying the extra to get that perk if the status credits don't post until after I've flown all the other flights.... TIA

According to my activity statement, two AA flights in April credited the next day.

Ensure the number is on the boarding pass at check in.

Something to consider in the equation may be whether you're travelling with a companion who might also have a bag they'd get for free? On a previous US trip I reckon status saved me and a few friends $1000us in fees over the course of two months. Not sure if this is still allowed.

If you're that close to status, have you done green tier for the 50sc it can provide?

Thanks for the information it's very helpful. No companion for this part of the journey so only I can benefit. And yes Green Tier will have been ticked off by then.
