    CBR-SYD restarting

Is Virgin planning to axe flights to Port Moresby?

I was just having a look at Virgin's policy for changes to domestic & international bookings during COVID-19. Interestingly, they are allowing free changes to trans-Tasman and international short-haul bookings except to Rarotonga, Tonga and Port Moresby. For flights to Rarotonga, Tonga or Port...

The first ever Qantas 787-9 flight to South Africa took place this week, with VH-ZND operating as QF63 SYD-JNB on Wednesday. The flight time was 13h 20m and looking at the flight path, EDTO/ETOPS doesn't seem to have been an issue.

    World's longest flight in a narrow-body aircraft?

I know the new A321neo LR aircraft has a rather good range and is capable of flying trans-Atlantic. But surely a non-stop flight of 12 hours and 20 minutes in a single-aisle A321 is just too long? Air Transit has scheduled a non-stop YUL-ATH flight later this month on a A321neo LR. The outbound...

    QF9 cancellations

QF9 has been pretty reliable since its introduction as a MEL: - PER - LHR in lieu of its former via DXB route. AFAIK, neither it or QF10 southbound have had to divert to an alternate airport. The northbound QF9 has been marginally affected by changes to its flight path given the Iranian...

Hi We are due to fly home (Adelaide) on the 13th from Amsterdam via Dubai with Emirates.
