Our members collate the ultimate Qantas Frequent Flyer program wish-list this week. Our members reveal their hopes, dreams and ideals for the future of the program all succinctly tied up in a big red (roo) bow.

This comes after Qantas announced significant changes to their program last month.

A free upgrade once a year is high on the list of flyers priorities. More ready access to airport lounges is also a key suggestion. One member suggests that Qantas Frequent Flyer members of a certain status are provided annually with a small number of single-use lounge passes for family and friends.

Less bureaucracy and more transparency are ideals of many frequent flyer members. Most members would like the ability to buy points more easily. Real free flights with point redemption is also flagged as a necessity. Many members feel frustrated that even when redeeming points they are still lumped with significant bills for taxes. Many members would also like to see more partners on board the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, particularly international hotels and credit card companies.

Some of our members wishes were more idealistic with less spin and more honesty trumpeted as a virtue they would like to see more readily espoused by Qantas.
