Hilton Honors has launched the equivalent of a “double status credits” promotion until the end of this year.

From 11 October until 31 December 2022, Hilton Honors members can earn double night credits at any hotel or resort that is part of the Hilton portfolio. Hilton brands include DoubleTree, Hampton, Conrad, Curio Collection and Waldorf Astoria.

To take advantage of this offer, you would first need to register on the Hilton website.

Hilton Honors members can qualify for elite status based on the number of nights, stays or base points earned in a calendar year. The “double night credits” offer will make it easier for Hilton Honors members to upgrade or renew their status by the end of 2022 if qualifying based on nights. The additional nights can also be rolled over into next year, where applicable.

The double night credits will apply to any nights stayed between 11 October and 31 December 2022, regardless of the booking date or checkout date, but only after the member has registered for this offer. This means existing Hilton hotel bookings will qualify.

It appears that reward nights, which are generally eligible to earn elite-qualifying nights and stays, will also earn double night credits as part of this promotion. However, the double night credits won’t count towards a Hilton status match challenge.

Hilton’s loyalty program has previously extended the status of all elite members until March 2023 due to COVID-19.
