Maybe when CX is closed in the wee morning hours.

I note the oneworld site specifically indicates Finniar F and J along with Finnair diamond.

Oneworld status in general does not cut it.

The Pier business is my usual go-to when in HKG.

This time though I'll be trying the Qantas lounge as well.

Thanks. Yes, they are being removed in the renovation unfortunately. The article included what each lounge has, and of course a note on where renos are happening. The content is likely to be updated again once CX finalises all renovations.

This is one of the best QF International J lounges imho...if you are flying Qf or a flight departing from a low gate number, it is very conveniently located cf say the Pier which is gate 63 or 65 iirc. They serve dim sum dishes in the Qf lounge 🙂 and there is lots of space to spread out.

Being in HKG, I always by default just go to the CX lounges as it's their base.

Have never actually been to the QF one before but yes, I've heard that this is one of the better lounges that they operate. If it's anything like the one in SIN, then it should be decent.

I'll be on a CX flight coming back to Australia (the past few days my flight # has been from gates 34, 62, 60, 29, 43 - so rather random) but don't mind walking to and from the gates.

I'll also be there around 8am or so, so hopefully the dim sum carts do come out too.

Bit confusing to write ‘how to access the lounge’ when referring to location. That phrase - almost universally - means the methods by which you can gain entry… class of service, status, or paid.

‘Where to find the lounge’ or ‘lounge location’ would have been better.
