You'll also learn about airline alliances, status credits and how to ensure your frequent flyer points don't expire.

Course 03: Transferring & Redeeming Points
Welcome to Course 3 of the Australian Frequent Flyer Training
Frequent flyer programs are the key to travelling better, for less!
In this course, we look at the different ways to redeem Qantas Frequent Flyer and Virgin Australia Velocity points. We'll also introduce the Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer and Cathay programs - two popular and very useful overseas loyalty programs for Australian frequent flyers - as well as a range of other overseas airline programs.
If you're earning points with a credit card rewards program, you'll have the option to transfer your points to a variety of different airlines as needed. This course will help you to decide which program/s to transfer your points into.

Course 02: Credit Cards & Airport Lounges
Welcome to Course 2 of the Australian Frequent Flyer Training
Credit cards are the key to maximising your frequent flyer points. They make it easy to earn hundreds of thousands of points each year - without flying, and for very little outlay! In particular, credit card sign-up bonuses are one of the easiest and cheapest ways to earn large amounts of points. You can then redeem those points for flights and upgrades.
This course compares and analyses Australia's credit cards and their rewards programs. It also explores strategies to maximise the number of points earned - including how to earn points by paying tax, home loans or business expenses.
Finally, Course 2 will show you how to access airport lounges when you fly. This is normally a benefit of elite airline status or a business class ticket - but the right credit card will also get you through the door. Before you know it, you'll be sipping champagne while waiting to board your flight away from the hustle & bustle of the airport terminal!

Course 06: Buying Points
Welcome to Course 6 of the Australian Frequent Flyer Training
Learn how to fly Business or First Class for just a fraction of the price by purchasing points!
If you don't quite have enough points to book the flights you want, buying points is an alternative strategy to significant amounts of money on premium cabin travel.
The trick is to buy frequent flyer points with a discount or bonus offer, then to redeem them for flights worth more than what you paid for the points. For example, you could buy $1,000 worth of points and redeem them for a Business Class flight that normally costs over $2,000!
This course explains how to buy and redeem points with overseas frequent flyer programs including Air Canada Aeroplan, British Airways Executive Club and Etihad Guest. It will also show you how to top up your Qantas points and Velocity points.

You can use frequent flyer points to book flights all over the world, including in Business and First Class. Unfortunately, reward seat availability is limited and airlines don't always make it easy to redeem your points effectively.
This course will show you how to redeem your points, including how to find award availability. Find out where to look for reward seats and how to search using both airline websites and specialised tools.

Course 09: Hotel, Supermarket & Car Hire Loyalty Programs

Airlines and banks aren't the only businesses with loyalty programs. Hotels, supermarkets, car rental companies and many other retailers also offer benefits to loyal (and in some cases, disloyal) customers.
Hotel loyalty programs reward frequent stayers with room upgrades, late checkouts, lounge access, complimentary breakfast, free nights and all sorts of other benefits. You can also earn a lot of points by gaming the Flybuys and Everyday Rewards programs of Coles and Woolworths.
