One member reports that they managed to get flights for two from Europe to Australia upgraded from Business to First class for no points. However, the website which this glitch was discovered on is a closely guarded secret. Our members recommend acting on any discovered glitch immediately as often the loopholes are quickly picked up by scrupulous airlines. Calling the airline to check if the fare is correct will usually result in automatic rectification of the glitch in question and a potential bargain quickly evaporating.

Another member warns that if something appears too good to be true, sometimes it can be! The airline may fail to honour the ticket if it was purchased as a result of a technical fault and this can result in becoming embroiled in argument with the issuing airline. If a number of fares were purchased as a result of a glitch then it is, in our member’s experience, more likely that the airline will identify the glitch and act to recoup their loss.
