Sydney to Auckland in Business Class for $624 return

LATAM Airlines currently has a great Business class sale on flights from Sydney to Auckland. You can fly across the Tasman in the comfort of a lie-flat bed for just $343 one-way or $624 return!

These excellent Sydney to Auckland Business fares are most useful for last-minute bookings. You’ll need to complete all travel by 30 November 2018. The sale ends on 16 October, which is next Tuesday. The fares are available on the LATAM Airlines website.

You can bring the price down even further by booking these as 2x one-way tickets. The flight from Auckland to Sydney, booked separately will cost only NZD287 (~$263) in Business Class. So in total, you would pay only $606 round-trip.

South America’s LATAM Airlines flies a Boeing 787-9 from Sydney to Auckland every day. This is a fifth-freedom flight that originates in Santiago, Chile. Business class on the LATAM Airlines Boeing 787 is configured in a 2-2-2 layout and the seats convert to fully-flat beds. If you feel inclined you can even indulge in South American cuisine and wine. That said, wine will probably be the last thing on your mind on the return flight from Auckland as this flight departs early in the morning.

As a Business class passenger you’ll enjoy access to the Qantas Business Class lounges in Sydney and Auckland. You can also earn 3,750 Qantas points and 80 Qantas status credits for the round-trip. These fares book into “Z” class.

Note that Double Qantas Status Credits cannot be earned on these flights as they are operated by a Qantas partner airline. You can earn Double Status Credits by flying to New Zealand with Qantas. The Business Class fare will be much higher (around $1,375) but you would earn 160 regular Qantas status credits – or 320 status credits under Double Status Credits.

The LATAM Airlines Business sale fares are also available in the opposite direction (i.e. from Auckland to Sydney). A return Business ticket from Auckland to Sydney in LATAM Business Class will currently cost you just NZD641 (~$587).
