There are two versions of Qatar Airways A320 Business class seats. In the regional configuration, these are recliner seats similar to Qantas 737 business class. But on the mid-haul configuration (typically used on longer flights between Doha and Europe), there are lie-flat beds. Both configurations offer 12 Business class seats, but you can tell which configuration you’re getting by checking the number of Economy class seats on the plane.
If you have a choice, clearly the mid-haul product is better although Qatar Airways may swap the aircraft at the last minute.
Note: On regional/short-haul flights, Qatar Airways may sell A320 Business Class as “First Class”.
