Qantas Frequent Flyer is giving away 10 points per day to Qantas Wellbeing App users that walk at least 7,500 steps each day during February 2021.
Following an initial “Qantas Frequent Walker” promotion during June 2020, this offer is back for the month of February 2021. In total, there are up to 280 bonus Qantas points on offer to users of the smartphone App who complete the step challenge each day.
The Qantas Frequent Walker challenge is open to all users of the Qantas Wellbeing App, regardless of whether you have a Qantas Insurance policy. If you don’t already have the Wellbeing App, you can also earn an additional 150 Qantas points just for downloading it and connecting your Qantas Frequent Flyer account. The App is available to download on the Google Play and Apple App stores.
Qantas says that points earned from this promotion will be credited within two weeks of completing each challenge.
The Qantas Wellbeing App
The Qantas Wellbeing App is a free way to earn Qantas points for meeting daily walking or cycling challenges. Anyone can earn points with the App, although Qantas Insurance customers generally earn points at a much higher rate. You can also earn Qantas points for meeting sleep targets.
The points earned from the Qantas Frequent Walker challenge during February 2021 are in addition to the regular points earned by meeting your personal goals.
It seems like a good deal, although you should be aware of the possible privacy implications of having an App track your sleep and exercise.
The Qantas Wellbeing App is one of the few ways to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points for free, other than completing Red Planet surveys. If you don’t regularly earn Qantas points, both of these options are good ways to keep your account active and prevent your Qantas points from expiring.
The Qantas Wellbeing App is only available for download in Australia.
