If you’re not already a member of the Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer program, now is a great time to join! Singapore Airlines is currently offering 1,000 bonus KrisFlyer miles to new members who sign up by 31 March, 2018. The program is free to join.

The 1,000 bonus KrisFlyer miles will take 4 to 6 weeks to credit to your new account. As with all KrisFlyer miles, the miles will expire if not used after 3 years.

To earn the bonus KrisFlyer miles, enter the Promo code JOINKFSQ at the bottom of the registration page on the Singapore Airlines website:

Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer is an excellent frequent flyer program for Australian flyers for several reasons. Firstly, KrisFlyer miles are a useful and valuable currency. They can be redeemed for flights across the Singapore Airlines and Star Alliance network, and redemptions are great value. There is also an excellent KrisFlyer round-the-world award.

KrisFlyer miles are also easily accessible to Australians. You can transfer points to KrisFlyer from Virgin Australia Velocity, as well as many Australian credit card rewards programs.

If you prefer to collect Velocity points, KrisFlyer is still useful because you can earn KrisFlyer miles with the 24 Star Alliance airlines that don’t partner with Virgin Australia. KrisFlyer miles can then be transferred to Velocity, although a minimum of 5,000 miles is required for transfers.

The full terms & conditions of this promotion can be found on the Singapore Airlines website: KrisFlyer miles giveaway
