Double Flybuys Status Credits for Velocity Members

Double Flybuys Status Credits for Velocity MembersVirgin Australia Velocity members can earn double Flybuys status credits this month when shopping at Coles.

By linking your Flybuys card to your Velocity Frequent Flyer account, you’ll normally earn 1 Velocity status credit for every $100 spent at Coles, Liquorland and First Choice Liquor each month. You can earn up to 10 status credits per month using this method.

With a maximum of 120 status credits per year on offer, you won’t be able to earn Velocity status just by shopping at Coles. You’d need to earn 250 status credits (and take at least two Virgin Australia flights) to earn Silver status. But shopping at Coles can be a handy way to top-up your status credits if you’re just a little bit short of attaining the next tier. This could save you from having to undertake a Virgin Australia status run.

If you shop at Coles anyway, this is not a bad deal. But during December, it’s twice as good. Velocity members will earn 2 Velocity status credits per $100 spent at Coles, up to a maximum of 20 status credits for the month. This is a great way to maximum the returns on your Christmas shopping!

There’s no need to register for this offer. Just make sure that your Flybuys and Velocity accounts are linked, and scan your Flybuys card when you shop.

Don’t forget that Velocity Frequent Flyer is also offering bonus points if you spend with at least 3 participating program partners this month. You’ll need to register for that particular promotion if you wish to take part. Read more: Up to 10,000 Velocity Points for Christmas
