It’s that time of year again where the Christmas offers start rolling in! Virgin Australia is the first Australian airline to jump on the bandwagon, offering up to 10,000 Velocity points for Christmas.

This Velocity Frequent Flyer promotion is relatively easy to get behind. You’ll receive 2,000 bonus Velocity points if you earn at least one point with 3 unique participating partners during the promotional period. The bonus increases to 4,000 Velocity points if you earn with 4 Velocity partners, or a generous 10,000 bonus points if you earn with 5 or more partners.

The promotion is running from 20 November 2018 until 8 January 2019. If you wish to take part, you’ll need to first activate the offer on the Velocity website.

To receive your bonus Velocity points for Christmas, you’ll need to earn points with 3 or more of the following Velocity Frequent Flyer partners:

Flybuys
BP Fuel
Velocity eStore
Midas
Autobarn
Wilson Parking
Sendle
Virgin Wines
Onsport
SkyBus

It’s not a particularly onerous ask to earn those 10,000 bonus points. For example, there are BP petrol stations around the country, you can earn Flybuys points for shopping at Coles, and SkyBus operates at 5 airports across Australia and New Zealand. You can earn Velocity points for using the SkyBus to travel to or from Melbourne, Avalon, Gold Coast, Hobart or Auckland Airport.

To qualify for spend at the Velocity eStore, you just need to earn at least one point with any of the online retailers on Velocity’s online mall. These include Menulog, eBay, Myer and Apple.

Don’t forget that you’ll also earn 15% bonus Velocity points by transferring points from Flybuys to Velocity Frequent Flyer by the end of this month!

According to the offer terms & conditions, the bonus Velocity points for Christmas may take up to 12 weeks to credit to your account after the end of the promotion on 8 January 2019.
