Following the launch of its inaugural service from Sunshine Coast to Whitsunday Coast in January 2023, Bonza has gradually added service on dozens of other domestic routes.

With bases in Sunshine Coast, Melbourne and Gold Coast, Bonza currently operates 36 routes to 21 airports across Australia. Bonza operates most of its routes between 2-5 times per week.

Bizarrely, Bonza doesn’t actually list the routes where it flies on its website. Bonza flights also don’t appear on Google Flights or most online travel agent websites. So, it can be a bit hard to work out where Bonza actually flies and when.

To make it easier for you, we’ve listed all of the current Bonza Airline routes and the days they’re served in the table below!

To buy a ticket for a Bonza flight, you would need to download the Fly Bonza app or visit a partner travel agent in a town or city served by Bonza.

The map below shows all of Bonza’s routes as of March 2024. Routes from the Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) base are shown in red, while routes from Melbourne (Tullamarine) are in light blue and routes from Gold Coast are in pink. Other routes that aren’t operating to or from a Bonza hub are in white:

More Bonza routes to come

Bonza’s CEO Tim Jordan told the AFF on Air podcast soon after Bonza launched service that the airline would continue to add routes over the following months and years.

“Twenty-seven routes is the beginning as far as we’re concerned. We’ve got two aircraft bases and that doesn’t fulfil the need and the obligation for servicing Australian markets in its entirety,” Mr Jordan said.

“Once you actually put these beautiful purple aircraft into the skies and you actually get fantastic media coverage as the first new high-capacity startup airline in Australia for 15 years, a number of airports who took a step backwards have now taken a step forwards.”

“So it’s probably fair to say that there are comfortably more than 20 additional airports that have actually flagged to us their wish, their hope, for Bonza service for their community moving forwards.”

So far, Bonza’s route network doesn’t extend to South Australia or Western Australia. But Mr Jordan confirmed that Bonza has been in discussions with airports in the west.
