On the flights between Melbourne and Manila, you will be on a Philippine Airlines Airbus A330. Flights from Manila onwards to Los Angeles are operated by the Boeing 777-300ER. The booking page has a seat map for both these sectors showing the lie-flat 1-2-1 configuration. However, last-minute aircraft swaps are possible, and you could potentially end up on the other aircraft configurations with a 2-2-2 layout.

This fare books into “I” class. Philippine Airlines is a Qantas Frequent Flyer “burn” partner and will soon be a member of the Oneworld alliance. However, you can’t yet earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points & status credits on Philippine Airlines flights.
