There’s currently an easy 5,000 Qantas points for Qantas Business Rewards members up for grabs. Plus, if you’re not already a member, you can join Qantas Business Rewards for free until 15 September 2019.

As a Qantas Business Rewards member, you can earn 5,000 bonus Qantas points by earning at least 500 points by 19 October 2019. The points can be earned by either flying with Qantas or spending with a new Qantas Business Rewards partners that you haven’t previously earned any points with.

Program partners include Qantas, Qantas Hotels, Avis, Budget, Dell, Secure Parking, NRMA and Harvey Norman Commercial. With most partners, between 1 and 4 points per dollar are earned. This means you’d just need to spend $125 with some partners (such as Avis or Budget) to receive the 5,000 bonus points. For Qantas flights, businesses earn between 20% and 40% of the Qantas points earned by the person flying. The amount depends on your membership level in the Qantas Business Rewards program.

If your business is not already a member, free Qantas Business Rewards membership is available until 15 September 2019. There is normally an $89.50 joining fee but no ongoing membership fees. An ABN is required to join the program. You can join on the Qantas website.

Qantas Business Rewards is Qantas’ loyalty program for small-to-medium businesses. The program awards Qantas points to businesses for spending with program partners or whenever the business’ employees fly with Qantas. These points can then be transferred to any Qantas Frequent Flyer account – be it your own or somebody else’s account – and redeemed for things like flights and Qantas upgrades.

Qantas Business Rewards members can also access fare discounts and savings on Qantas Club membership. (If you’re not a Business Rewards member, you can also access discounted Qantas Club membership via the AFF corporate scheme.)

Qantas previously ran a very similar offer in August 2018. Outside of these promotions, it is possible to get free Qantas Business Rewards membership if you’re a customer of various program partners or have a selected credit card that earns Qantas Business Rewards points.
