Got credit card points that you want to transfer to Velocity Frequent Flyer? Do it during the month of May and June 2026, and you can earn a 10% or 20% bonus!

Velocity’s bonus points offer is back for May 2026. A similar offer usually comes around every six months (in May and November).

How to earn 10-20% bonus points on transfers to Velocity during May and June 2026

If you have points with an Australian credit card rewards program other than CommBank Awards, you can earn a 10% bonus on any points you manually transfer to Velocity between 1 and 31 May and 1 and 30 June 2026. To be clear, you need to make at least one transfer in each month to qualify.

You can also get a 20% bonus on any points that arrive in your Velocity account if you opt-in to auto-redemption of points into Velocity during this month. However, you’ll only earn bonus points on automatic transfers if you opted out of this at the start of the promotion period (1 May 2026).

Participating programs include Amex Membership Rewards, ANZ Rewards, Westpac Altitude, NAB Rewards and MyCard Rewards. You can see the full list of participating bank programs on the Velocity Frequent Flyer website.

According to the offer T&Cs, the bonus points will be credited to your Velocity account by 31 July 2026. The bonus applies automatically – no need to register.

This is not a better offer than the last one

In November 2025, Velocity launched an offer of 15-20% bonus points if you transferred points over two months. The current offer of 10-15% isn’t as high, so do keep that in mind if you are manually transferring Velocity Points. You could earn more by waiting for a future offer if you don’t have an immediate need to book travel.

You can redeem Velocity Points for upgrades and reward flights on Virgin Australia, as well as flights on partner airlines including Qatar Airways, United, ANA, Virgin Atlantic and South African Airways.

Only 10% bonus for manual transfers, and nothing extra for Amex Platinum from what I can see. Disappointing.

Will auto TF My Card points balance meaning I earn 1.2 Va FF pts per $ spent online or 0.77 Sq FF pts per $ spent online 🙂

It’s a great rate but the auto-redemption set-up for MyCard is quite confusing. Did you proceed with the pre-filled 2 MyCard points=1VFF point in basket, then check-out/continue? I presume that then activates full points auto-redemption to occur on 15th, but not certain. Its a terrible interface, should be able to just turn on/off.

I have so many FB points, waiting in vain for that 5% transfer bonus…..

Just enabled Auto-transfer for my new ANZ card, but reading the fine print of this current offer came across this paragraph:

If you receive Velocity bonus Points for taking up a new card with ANZ, NAB or MyCard during the Promotion Period, you will not be eligible to receive bonus Velocity Points as part of this offer on any points transferred.

I need to have Auto-trasnfer enabled with ANZ to receive sign-up Velocity points, but looks like that rules out any bonuses from manual or auto transfers with ANZ and Mycard that I also planned on doing. I hope I am not reading it correctly, but looks like I'm out of luck to double dip.

I’m not certain but I think it only applies to card applications/bonuses which occur during promotion period. If you have points sitting in your CC account already, prior to promotion, I think they will accrue 20% also. That’s what happened to my NAB points previously.

Good to hear your previous experience, might roll the dice then with mycard.

As I recall the usual rate from AMEX is more like 20%?

I doubt you'll see Commbank in future. Because CommBank eliminated all airline and hotel transfer partners except for Velocity (and Qantas for an additional $90/year fee), it now has a dominant relationship. CommBank likely doesn't need transfer bonuses to incentivise movement, because the points are effectively locked into the Velocity ecosystem.
