Singapore Airlines is currently running an excellent sale on Business Class flights from Bangkok, Thailand to destinations in Europe and the United States. There are also some great Singapore Airlines Premium Economy deals available from Bangkok to New York, as well as from Kuala Lumpur to Paris!

For example, right now you can book a Singapore Airlines Business Class ticket from Bangkok to Paris for as little as THB60,060 round-trip, which is approximately AUD2,447:

Singapore Airlines Business Class specials from Bangkok are also currently available to destinations including Istanbul, Copenhagen and San Francisco. You can see the full list on the Singapore Airlines website. Note that Economy is shown by default on this page, but choose “Business” as your preferred class to see the Business Class deals.

These airfares are available to book until 6 September 2022, and you can commence your trip between 1 January and 31 March 2023. No stopovers (of more than 24 hours) are permitted in Singapore.

Here’s another example of a current sale fare from Bangkok to Istanbul, available for the equivalent of AUD2,225 return:

You can credit Singapore Airlines airfares to Velocity Frequent Flyer, Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan or any Star Alliance frequent flyer program. If crediting the above Bangkok-Istanbul itinerary to Velocity, for example, you could expect to earn 15,688 Velocity points and 440 status credits.

Here’s another example of a sale fare available to Copenhagen for AUD2,554 round-trip:

You can even use this sale to get from Bangkok to New York in Business Class, including flights on the world’s longest route between Singapore and New York, for AUD3,112 return!

Flights from Bangkok to Los Angeles in Singapore Airlines Business Class are also available for the same price as shown above.

Singapore Airlines has some good Premium Economy fares available from Bangkok to New York as well, such as this itinerary for AUD1,507 return:

These fares can all be booked on the Singapore Airlines website. As you’ll be paying in Thai Baht, you may wish to use a credit card with no international transaction fees.

If you live in Australia, you can take advantage of these deals by “nesting” a return Singapore Airlines booking from Thailand within another return booking from Australia to Thailand. For example, you could buy a cheap Jetstar ticket or perhaps redeem frequent flyer points from Australia to Thailand, then continue with Singapore Airlines on a separate ticket. Overall, you’re likely to save many thousands of dollars compared to the cost of buying a Business Class ticket from Australia to Europe or the United States!

Allow at least a day between arriving and departing in Bangkok as you’ll be using separate tickets, in case of any delays to the inbound flight. Or, why not enjoy a longer Thai stopover and break up the trip with an extra holiday in Bangkok?

It’s also worth mentioning that Singapore Airlines currently has a great Premium Economy deal available from Kuala Lumpur to Paris (via Singapore) from MYR4,508 (AUD1,462) round-trip. Note that the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore sector generally books into Economy, as Premium Economy is not available on that short flight. That airfare is available to book until 26 August 2022, for travel dates between now and 31 March 2023.

I won't start another thread as this is quite a similar deal, but I've just found SQ fares from BKK-CDG (via SIN) in J for AUD2,421 (THB60,085), which is a few hundred dollars cheaper than the FRA deal. Seems to be available on quite a few dates.

Here's one example:

I looked up late Feb to mid April, and on the same dates Qantas is doing 2.2k business class return direct to BKK (seems like a sale fare on jetabroad).

That means if you combine them that's just under 5k for full business class SYD-BKK-EU with Qantas and SQ. That's a steal, if you don't mind the extra journey time.

I've just booked BKK-SIN-IST return in March for $2,227 all-in. Good schedules and A350 all the way.

To complement this, I've booked SYD-BKK-SYD in J using 136,800 Qantas points and approx $500 in taxes/charges.

All done in less than an hour this morning. Amazing!

One shudders to think what schedule changes, etc may occur, though...

Be vary or changing dates on these tickets. Fare difference will be quite massive, and possibly more than the ticket itself.
