Sensational Qantas South Australia Sale

Qantas has launched an excellent sale on flights to South Australia, with $198 return flights to Adelaide available from Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.

Full-service flights from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to regional destinations in South Australia (via Adelaide), including Kangaroo Island, Port Lincoln, Whyalla and Mt Gambier are also on sale for $338 return.

Direct flights from Melbourne to Mt Gambier are on sale for $198 return as well.

As these are Qantas flights, all fares include checked baggage, food and drinks including beer & wine on board.

To access the discounted airfares, you’ll need to book a return flight on the Qantas website by 18 March 2021. The Qantas South Australia sale is available for travel from 19 April-26 June, and 11 July-17 September 2021.

The Qantas sale fares are being offered in partnership with the South Australian Tourism Commission. The discounted airfares are not available on return flights departing from South Australia to other states.

Rex $69 Melbourne-Adelaide flights

While the Qantas sale fares are particularly attractive if you’re coming from Perth, Brisbane or Canberra, where Qantas tickets are normally a lot more expensive than $99 one-way, there are better deals available elsewhere on the Melbourne-Adelaide route.

Rex plans to launch twice-daily Melbourne-Adelaide Boeing 737 flights from 31 March 2021, and is currently selling flights on this route from $69 one-way in Economy class or $299 in Business class.

Virgin Australia has beaten Rex’s fares with $67 one-way Melbourne-Adelaide flights now on sale. Jetstar is currently selling Melbourne-Adelaide flights from $61 one-way, although this excludes checked baggage and other extras.

As part of Virgin Australia’s current “For the fans” sale, Virgin Australia flights from the Sunshine Coast to Adelaide are available from $99 one-way for travel in April.
