Accor has recently opened two new hotels at Brisbane Airport. The Pullman Brisbane Airport Hotel and neighbouring Ibis Hotel are conveniently located across the road from Brisbane’s domestic terminal, a short walk from the domestic airport railway station.

The new hotels are a welcome addition to Brisbane Airport. Previously, the closest hotel to Brisbane Airport was the Novotel located a short drive from the international terminal. This is not a particularly convenient location, although the Brisbane Airport Novotel does offer an airport shuttle service for a $6 fee.

Pullman Brisbane Airport is rated 5-stars and holds 132 rooms. There is a gym and swimming pool, as well as a bar, restaurant and Executive Lounge.

In addition to the regular Accor benefits, Accor Le Club Gold members are eligible for early check-in and a room upgrade. Platinum members also have access to the Executive Lounge.

It seems that, having only recently opened, the Pullman Brisbane Airport hotel is currently not very full. In fact, there were so few guests when one AFF member recently visited that the Executive Lounge was closed. This Platinum Le Club member was offered complimentary food and drinks at the bar and free breakfast instead. Despite not having access to the lounge, this member found the hotel comfortable and conveniently located.

Overall, genuinely mixed views. Feel I was told some misinformation. But what I received (including an exec room upgrade) was good. The quiet and convenience (to the Dom terminal only) will probably see me stay here again at least once in a few months to give them another go.

Another member recently stayed at the Pullman and had a good experience.

Stayed last night. All good. Wasn’t that many guests staying here. Looked like the Ibis next door had more patronage. Exec Lounge was closed for some reason, drinks & canapes in the bar area instead. Better option then the Novotel Airport.

The Pullman Brisbane Airport rates seem to start at around $260 per night, while the 3-star Ibis Hotel next door is charging around $150 per night.
