For full disclosure, Australian Frequent Flyer is affiliated with Pay.com.au.

Pay.com.au has increased the rate at which its PayRewards points convert to Qantas Business Rewards and Virgin Australia Business Flyer from 2.5:1 to 2:1.

It comes as PayRewards continues to add new transfer partners including Japan Airlines Mileage Bank, China Southern Sky Pearl Club, United MileagePlus and British Airways Club.

Pay.com.au is one of several Australian bill payment services that let you earn full points on your credit card when paying tax bills and other business expenses. Most Australian banks do not award points on government payments, so paying the ATO through platforms such as pay.com.au lets you earn credit card points for these payments as you would for any other everyday expense.

Uniquely, Pay.com.au also gives you the option to purchase an additional bundle whenever you make a payment which earns PayRewards points.

What can you use PayRewards points for?

You can now convert PayRewards points to 12 airline and 3 hotel loyalty programs. These are the PayRewards program partners and point conversion rates:

These advertisement articles are the worst.

Disclaimer that AFF and Pay.Com share the exact same owner should be made VERY clear.

Didn't know that.
I'm a bit upset to be honest.
If that's true, then stop fartimg about AFF and get American Airlines on board.

A small disclaimer hidden at the end of the article stating 'affiliated with' doesn't really tell people that AFF and Pay.com share the same ownership team.

It's blatantly advertising their own product in a sneaky way and readers should be made very aware that it is a biased article missing information that will allow a fair comparison.

A quick google tells me Pay.Com made $56.8 million in the last financial year. I'm no Business expert but behind all the marketing smoke and mirrors - these payment processors are just selling people points in a legal way and making money via the difference in fees - no different to Qantas. So these articles are pushing you to buy points within their own eco-system and make the owners more money.

I personally see lots of issues with this.
