Overview of Flybuys Redemptions

In Australia, you can either redeem Flybuys points directly through the Flybuys program for products or shopping discounts, or transfer your Flybuys points to Velocity Frequent Flyer.

If you redeem your Flybuys points directly, they are worth exactly 0.5 cents each. You can redeem for:

• Convert to savings at the checkout at Coles (2,000 points = $10 discount)
• Gift cards (2,000 points = $10 voucher)
• Merchandise from the Flybuys store (2,000 points = $10 credit)
• Flights and hotels via Flybuys Travel portal (2,000 points = $10 credit)

Alternatively, 1,000 Flybuys points are worth 500 Velocity Frequent Flyer points. You can transfer your points on the Flybuys website.

In general, transferring Flybuys points to Velocity is better value if you plan to redeem your points for reward flights or Virgin Australia flight upgrades.
