This promotion is available to anyone with a Visa Signature or Visa Infinite credit card issued in the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia and New Zealand. Eligible Australian credit cards include the St George Amplify Signature, Citi Prestige, Citi Signature, NAB Rewards Signature and Virgin Money’s Velocity High Flyer cards.
If you have an eligible Visa Signature or Infinite credit card, simply register on the Visa Promotions website to claim your Hilton Honors Gold status fast-track.
Once registered, you’ll need to stay at least twice – or a total of 4 nights over any number of stays – at any Hilton property within 90 days to receive your instant Hilton Honors Gold status. Hotel brands affiliated with the Hilton Honors loyalty program include Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, Double Tree, Hampton and Curio Collection.
The Hilton Honors Gold fast-track promotion for Visa cardholders is running until 31 July 2019. To receive Hilton Gold status, you would need to register by this date and complete the minimum number of nights or stays within 90 days of registering.
Only hotel stays booked direct with Hilton (e.g. via the Hilton website) are eligible to earn Hilton Honors points and status. Stays at Hilton hotels that are booked through travel agents or third-party aggregator websites like Expedia will not earn points nor count towards this promotion.
With Hilton Honors, note that stays on consecutive nights at the same hotel count only as one stay – even if you’ve made separate bookings.
Hilton also offers its own status match challenge, however you would need to already hold status with a competing hotel chain to be eligible. With the Hilton status match, you’d automatically receive all of the benefits of Hilton status for 90 days. But you would need to complete at least 4 stays within the 90 days to extend your Gold status. The Diamond challenge normally requires 8 stays within 90 days.
