Qantas is currently offering up to a 40% discount off Qantas Club memberships. This deal is available on new individual memberships and expires on Thursday, 23 May 2019.

With the current deal, Australian residents can get four years of Qantas Club membership for $1,349.40 – which works out to be just $337.35 per year. Smaller discounts are also available on 1 and 2-year membership. And if you happen to live outside of Australia, you can get an even better price.

This deal is available to residents of all countries, including Australia and New Zealand. This offer is not available to existing Qantas Club members looking to renew. However, some existing Qantas Club members say they’ve also received targeted offers of renewal discounts.

Qantas Club membership comes with access to airport lounges across Australia and around the world whenever you fly with Qantas or Jetstar. You are also able to invite one guest into the lounge with you at each visit. Additional Qantas Club benefits include access to on-departure upgrades and additional baggage allowance when flying with Qantas.

If you happen to reach Gold or higher status with Qantas while you’re a Qantas Club member, your membership will be placed on hold until you drop back down to Silver or Bronze status. (Gold, Platinum and Platinum One frequent flyers enjoy free lounge access as a benefit of their status.)

You can take advantage of this offer on the Qantas website.

Qantas ran an almost identical promotion this time last year.

How much is Qantas Club membership under this offer?

The discount varies depending on your country of residence and the duration of membership purchased. The full 40% discount on Qantas Club is only available if you purchase a 4-year subscription. The discount for Australian residents on 1-year membership is 22% and a 27% reduction is being offered on 2-year membership. These amounts vary slightly for residents of other countries. The discount applies to both the joining fee and membership fee.

Here is how much you’ll pay for new Qantas Club memberships with the current offer (in AUD unless specified):

At just $1,061.40 (USD731) for 4 years, the 4-year membership is a particularly good deal for US residents. That’s because Qantas Club members can also access Admirals Club lounges when flying with American Airlines. The 4-year membership works out to be just USD183 per year, which is considerably cheaper than the USD600 per year that American Airlines charges for Admirals Club membership!

AFF Qantas Club corporate scheme membership

Don’t forget that you can also access a Qantas Club discount through the AFF corporate scheme. This discount is available to all GOLD members of the Australian Frequent Flyer forum. (Learn more about AFF membership here.)

Corporate scheme rates are also available to those renewing their Qantas Club membership. However, note that these corporate scheme rates are not available to New Zealand residents for reasons beyond our control.
