Qatar Airways Monthly Privilege Deals

Qatar Airways has recently launced Privilege Deals, offering 25% off award flights to and from certain destinations in Economy, Business or First Class. The booking window for these awards is a week long, with travel permitted up until the end of the next month.

This promotion launched in August 2026 – and is very similar to Singapore Airlines’ popular ‘Spontaneous Escapes’.

However, there’s a few crucial differences. Privilege Deals are refundable, with the usual restrictions on Qatar award bookings. But the main difference is that to get the 25% discount, you only have to start or end your travel in one of the listed cities. The 25% discount will then be applied to your entire itinerary.

This means you can get Business Class award flights from Australia to Europe (or vice versa) from just 67,500 Qatar Avios + taxes, fees and carrier charges!

The discounted award tickets have just been released by Qatar Airways for October 2026. From 7 October – 14 October 2026, you can book award flights with a 25% discount on the Avios required to certain destinations for travel until 30 November 2026.

This month’s promotion includes destinations in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. It also includes some intra-Middle East First Class fares – as these destinations do not offer Business Class, it means you can access the Al-Safwa First Class Lounge when transiting Doha.

If you need to build up your Avios balance, you can transfer points from American Express Membership Rewards, CommBank Yello or Virgin Money Rewards.

Qatar Airways Privilege Deals terms and conditions

Qatar Airways Privilege Deals only apply to Qatar Airways marketed and operated flights.

When booking online, look for the dates marked ‘Privilege Deals’.

Availability is limited, and you can only get Privilege Deals on the lowest level of award pricing offered by Qatar Airways. This means that ‘flexi’ awards are not discounted.

You must book within the limited booking window and travel within the specified dates. If you wish to change your Privilege Deals flight booking, you must cancel the current booking and make a new online booking.

Note that not all flights may be available at the discounted pricing. But, you may fly to and/or from any destination in the Qatar Airways network to a Privilege Deals destination and get the discounted pricing. For example, even though Adelaide is not one of the promotion destinations, the 25% discount is applied because Warsaw is:

This opens up some cool possibilities to use your Avios for Qatar Airways Business Class!
