Thanks for the review - flying Bondi from MDZ to AEP next month. More worried about my BRC-MDZ on AR due to industrial action.

It's a pity LAN Argentina (RIP) no longer flies - a casualty of the economic chaos a few years back. They were quite good - flew MIA-EZE once in J and several flights around Argentina of the years, including AEP-FTE. The return FTE-AEP was odd. The plane was on a tech stop up from USH and those PAX all had to remain on board, so despite being one of the first to board in FTE, you walked onto a near full plane.

Hi Matt do you speak Spanish?

When we flew Flybondi in January 2023, we were removed from the exit row because we didn't speak Spanish well enough.

I posted about it here

their FAQ has been modified again and now states "Be able to read, understand and communicate in Spanish and English" Which is just weird, as not of lot of passengers can do both. Maybe they mean "or" English now?

For what it's worth, Bondi is a slang term for bus both in Spanish & Portuguese (though Google translate doesn't show it), so Flybondi is a flybus.

Not surprised you had a ryanair feel, as there business model and some of the execs are from Ryanair.

Pete.

I don't speak enough Spanish to understand the exit instructions, but the instructions card was also in English. I don't recall anyone ever actually asking me on board if I could speak Spanish, and don't recall whether or not we had a briefing about the exit row. I think the row in front of us may have got one and not our row - but I don't remember exactly, sorry.

All good, we were quizzed at check-in. Their policy seems to be changing all the time.

Just did MDZ-AEP today. On time and pleasant service but LV-KJD is showing all of its 18 years of age.

For anyone considering paying the $9USD for an XL seat you get a complimentary snack and tea/coffee. Note that 1ABC and 2DEF have fixed arm rests so the seats are narrow, and that there is a bulkhead in front of 1C so you can choose this seat without getting bags slammed in your face.

Note that FlyBondi has horrific delays. The aircraft was supposed to turn around to operate FO5052 AEP to BRC. Sked departure 1315 actual 1848. Having been to BRC being delayed for 5 hours would be boring as $&-@.
