It’s rare to find Business class airfares from Australia to Europe for under $6,000 return. But the same is not true for the reverse! Cheap Business class fares to Australia, from Europe, can regularly be found for as little as $3,000.

During a recent sale, Qatar Airways had Business class fares available from Stockholm to Sydney for under $3,000 return. Cheap airfares were also available to Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth. This thread contains discussion on the latest Qatar Airways sale: QR: ARN xDOH – Australia J ~A$3100

Singapore Airlines also currently has return Business class airfares on sale from Europe to Australia for just over $3,000. These fares are available departing Oslo.

Thai Airways is another airline to look out for. Cheap Business class fares to Australia and New Zealand are currently available on Thai Airways flights departing Rome for around $3,900 return.

These cheap Business class fares to Australia are not commonly available from major hubs like London and Paris. But you can often get some very good deals departing from secondary European cities like Stockholm, Oslo, Prague and Rome.

Online tools like Google Flights and ITA Matrix are useful for finding the cheapest flights from a variety of different cities. See this thread for tips on searching for flights from multiple European cities: Best Tool for Paid Flights From Multiple Origins

Flights from Egypt to Australia are also typically well-priced. Return Business class fares from Cairo to Australia are often around $3,000. First class is just over $5,000 round-trip, flying Emirates.

If you travel to Europe at least once per year, you may consider purchasing return fares from Europe instead of Australia. This is likely to save you significant money in the long term as you’ll be avoiding the Australia Tax.
