Qantas and it's frequent flyer program are popular topics at the Australian Frequent Flyer. Qantas is Australia's national carrier, and has Jetstar as a subsidiary. The Qantas Frequent Flyer program is easily Australia's largest loyalty program.
It is possible to buy Qantas points. While not great value, buying points is useful if you are just short of frequent flyer points needed for an upgrade or award flight.
Many of our members use the Qantas Frequent Flyer Family transfer facility to gift points to loved family members. Unlike many of the US airlines, there is no charge to do this.
