Airfare of the Week: Etihad Business Class Manila-Milan from $2,643 Return

Our latest Airfare of the Week belongs to Etihad Airways, which has round-trip Business Class fares from Manila (MNL) to Milan (MXP) from AUD2,643.
While Etihad isn’t a member of an alliance, it does have useful partnerships including with Air Canada and American Airlines. This airfare is extremely useful for travellers wanting to fly to Europe in Business Class for less.
This price is for Etihad’s “Business Value” fare, which is an unbundled Business Class fare that doesn’t come with lounge access and complimentary seat selection. The Business Comfort fare does come with lounge access and seat selection, for an extra USD115 (~$AU163) each on the outbound and return.
Here are the full details of this great Business Class airfare from Manila to Milan…
Sample itinerary & pricing

You can book this fare on the Etihad website. However, it is slightly cheaper to book via some OTAs.
Note that it’s actually slightly cheaper to fly into Rome (FCO), rather than Milan. However, the Abu Dhabi-Rome service is scheduled to be operated by a wet-leased Wamos Air Airbus A330. While the soft product should be similar to normal Etihad flights, the hard product is decidedly worse.
You can also fly into other cities in Europe, such as Madrid, Lisbon and Dublin, for a couple of hundred dollars more.
Note that fares and availability are subject to change. This fare may not be available by the time you read this article, and you might need to be flexible with travel dates. We recommend booking ASAP to avoid disappointment!

On-board product
Etihad have a Boeing 787-9 scheduled on the Manila-Abu Dhabi leg (and return), equipped with lie-flat Business Class seats. These are in a 1-2-1 configuration, although these alternate between facing forwards and backwards each row.

The Boeing 787-10 operating most of the Abu Dhabi-Milan flights has a similar configuration. However, some flights between Abu Dhabi and Milan in February and March have the A350, equipped with a modern reverse herringbone Business Class seat.

If you choose to purchase a fare with lounge access, you can enjoy the modern Etihad Business Lounge at Abu Dhabi.
