Overview of Malaysia Airlines Enrich Redemptions

Enrich is the loyalty program of Malaysia Airlines. It used to be a good option for Australian flyers, but has undergone multiple devaluations over the past decade.

In general, we recommend that you consider transferring your credit card points to a different Oneworld frequent flyer program instead. But if you do wish to use Enrich points, read on…

Which airlines can you redeem Enrich points to fly with?

As Malaysia Airlines is a member of the Oneworld alliance, Enrich miles can be redeemed to fly on any Oneworld airline:

Oneworld member airlines as of April 2021

Malaysia Airlines Enrich miles can also be redeemed for travel on the following partner airlines:

  • Air France/KLM
  • Emirates
  • Etihad Airways
  • Firefly
  • MASwings

See the Malaysia Airlines website for more information about partner airlines.

How many Enrich points do you need for a flight?

For flights on Malaysia Airlines, Enrich uses dynamic award pricing. This means there are no fixed mileage amounts.

For flights on partner airlines, Malaysia Airlines uses distance-based award zones. The price will be based on the sum of the distance of all flights in the itinerary, and no stopovers are permitted. You can only use one partner airline per award, or one partner + Malaysia Airlines. Award charts are published on the Malaysia Airlines website.

First Class redemptions on Emirates are not possible using Enrich miles. Oneworld multi-carrier awards are no longer available.

How to book

Award flights on Malaysia Airlines (only) can be booked online. For partner airline award bookings, you’ll need to call the Malaysia Airlines call centre.
