50% Bonus Velocity Points on Flights (June 2021)

Virgin Australia is now offering 50% bonus Velocity points on new flights booked until 30 June 2021. The offer covers travel dates any time from the beginning of the promotion on 21 June 2021 until 17 May 2022.

To take advantage of this offer, you would first need to register on the Velocity website or in the Velocity App.

Then, book any Virgin Australia marketed and operated domestic flight within the promotional window to receive 50% extra base points after flying. That’s 7.5 Velocity points per $1 spent, instead of 5 points per dollar.

The bonus Velocity points may take up to four weeks to post to your account after you fly, and bonus points won’t be earned on any of the status bonus points earned by Silver, Gold or Platinum members.

While this 50% bonus Velocity points promotion admittedly isn’t as exciting as Velocity’s recent bonus status credits or triple points offers, it could come in handy if you’re planning to book Virgin Australia flights anyway over the coming week.
