You’re invited to join our upcoming Frequent Flyer MasterClass! This in-person event will take place in Sydney on Saturday, 27 June 2026. It’s a great way to supplement the knowledge gained from our forum, articles, training courses and webinars.
Over a series of educational sessions, four of Australia’s leading frequent flyer program and travel experts will share their best tips and tricks to help you travel better, for less.
You’ll learn practical skills, widen your knowledge and have lots of opportunities to ask questions. You’ll also get to exchange travel tips and tales with your fellow MasterClass attendees throughout the day, including over lunch and afternoon tea.
What this Frequent Flyer MasterClass will cover
In our upcoming Sydney MasterClass, we’ll run sessions that cover a variety of topics for all levels – beginner, intermediate and advanced. You’ll have the option to choose the sessions that interest you.

Matt Graham

Matt is one of Australia’s leading frequent flyer program experts. He’s passionate about travel and loves helping people to take full advantage of frequent flyer points to help them achieve their travel goals. Matt was the Editor of AFF from 2015 until 2025.

Brandon Loo
Point Hacks Editor-in-Chief
As the Editor-in-Chief at Point Hacks, Brandon knows where to find a great deal! Based in Perth, he’s always looking ahead for the next big trip to book with points. You can find him on Instagram as @thepointswanderer.

Alan Lam
Experienced travel agent
Alan is one of Australia’s most knowledgeable travel agents, especially when it comes to frequent flyer programs and maximising the full allowances of every ticket. He has been a regular guest on AFF podcasts and posts as “madrooster” on the AFF forum.

Location & timing details
This event will take place at Pullman Sydney Airport hotel. It will run from 10am-5pm on Saturday, 27 June 2026. Feel free to join us from 10am for tea & coffee, before the first session officially starts at 10.30am.
In addition to a variety of educational sessions, the day will include meal breaks, a panel discussion and networking opportunities.
On Saturday evening, you’ll also have the option to join us for an AFF community dinner in Newtown. This dinner is optional and not part of the official MasterClass.

Pricing & how to secure your spot
The cost to attend this event is $279. This price includes:
- Full participation in the day of educational training sessions led by experts in travel and frequent flyer programs
- Coffee and tea when you arrive
- Lunch and afternoon tea
Discounts available
There are two types of discounts available for this event:
- AFF Platinum members can access a special price of $159. If you’re an AFF Platinum member, you can access this discount by using the promo code in the email that we sent you. If you didn’t get an email or became an AFF Platinum member after we announced this event, please contact us or send a message to admin on the AFF forum.
- All other AFF members can access a special Early Bird price of just $199 until 11 May 2025. When you register by this date, simply enter the promo code EARLYBIRD at the checkout to access the discounted Early Bird price.

Cancellation policy
If you are no longer able to attend or wish to cancel, we can give you a refund if you inform us by 5 June 2026. After this time, tickets are non-refundable but you may give your ticket to someone else (please inform us if you wish to do this).

Discounted parking & accommodation
MasterClass attendees who wish to stay at Pullman Sydney Airport on the night before or after the event can access a special rate which includes breakfast and ALL points/benefits. Simply book using the link we’ll send you in the email after you’ve purchased your ticket.
If you wish to park at the venue, the hotel is offering MasterClass attendees a discounted parking rate of $25 for the day (instead of $40).

The Australian Frequent Flyer MasterClass is a fun day packed full of educational sessions that will teach you how to maximise frequent flyer programs and get great travel deals. Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and network with other attendees. Food and drinks are included in the price.
Tickets can be cancelled for a refund if you inform us by 5 June 2026. After this date, tickets are non-refundable as we need to confirm attendance numbers with the venue. However, you may give your ticket to someone else. Please inform us if you wish to do this.
Yes. Please inform us of your dietary needs when completing the short questionnaire on the checkout page when you purchase your ticket.
Yes. MasterClass attendees can access a special hotel room rate and a cheaper rate on parking at Pullman Sydney Airport. Accommodation rates include breakfast. The cost is $260 for a Single Superior Room ($285 for Twin or Double share), or $290 for a Single Deluxe Room ($315 for Twin or Double share).
