Celebrating the "shipped" status was premature.
Received cancellation email.
Rang up and argued about it.
Their offer is we can reorder for a price of $51 which will be available to everyone in a few weeks.
They admit it is their error but they aren't accepting any responsibility..
Absolutely appalling customer relations.
I have been offered 2000 QFF points but I haven't agreed to cancel my orders yet.
I will definitely be exploring my legal options at least in relation to the box I ordered with my membership.

First rule of gaming the system:
Know when to stop wasting your time on "legal options" - read and understand the T&C you agreed to on purchasing.

Take the 2,000 points and move on.

I read and understood the T&Cs.
They don't provide a right to cancel an order AFTER it has been partly delivered.
In fact they state at clause 8(e):
(e) Orders for Products that are not Subscription Products cannot be cancelled or modified after that Order has been received and processed by Qantas and/or the Supplier.
I note that this restriction is not limited to cancellation or modification by the member so it would operate to prohibit cancellation or modification by either party.
In my view my order had been received and processed. I received my confirmation of Premium membership by email. I received my 3000 QFF points.
The online status of my order was changed first to "partly shipped" and then to "shipped". A consignment number was allocated.
If all of that doesn't count as being "received and processed by Qantas" then I don't know what would!
The call centre staff tried to argue that each item in an order was a separate order but there is nothing in the T&Cs to support this argument.

My lawyer's rates are very reasonable. In fact I have been meaning to increase them.

If you had used a voucher code, I wouldn't bother. There are numerous terms on there, one being no sparkling/champagne products allowing them to cancel.

Having said that, All the Best, your result will set precedence for us all :)

there would be a confidential settlement before any precedent setting actions occur 😀

Hi all; the dreaded email arrived today 1.36pm advising that due to a pricing error at the weekend Qantas Wine would not be honoring the order. They are going to put the Pommery on sale later this week for$51.99 a bottle. They are offering me this or a full refund. If they don't hear from me they will fully refund my payment.

Well I wont be buying from them as Dan's standard price is $48.78 a bottle.

Cheers Rug

Got two consignment numbers, still no email.
One of my members has an order marked as Shipped with Fway tracking number and then received the cancellation email.

The status changes to "Shipped" when they allocate a number in the courier system, it may not actually be picked-up until later in the day or the next day, giving them time to cancel before it actually leaves the warehouse.

Wow, DM have put it on "clearance" with the .78 pricing at some stores. My nearest has $48.78, the next nearest in ACT still at $66.50.

No email, status changed to 'shipped', tracking numbers issued and points credited.

Email at 11:30 AEST, status changed to ‘shipped’, tracking numbers issued and points credited.

On clearance at some BWS Stores for $42.22.

Still a glimmer of hope,

Would that be when it pops up on Aus Post? Because my app has it as "your parcel is coming".
Not necessarily, if you look further it says "Shipping information received by Australia Post " or "
Shipping information approved by Australia Post". That means it's in their system to be collected but hasn't actually been picked up yet.
The status you want is "It's on its way." and "Processed at facility".
