Well, thanks to SleepyPolarBear we found out about this last night:
I first found out about it from @Jeffrey O'Neill in the thread they started so thanks to both!
not sure if this is a pricing mistake

I added some SAKE so I could use the WINE1019 code

Hopefully I wont get a disappointing cancellation email :)

I just figured it was old stock. I’ve got some old bottles of Pom NV that don’t taste too good anymore

According to Qantas:

'Enjoy now or cellar for years'

Key word: "cellar".
Not cupboard.

Looks like mix up in size. The mini bottles are around $22 mark. Wonder did someone get the wrong size on a discount

IF they cancel the pom but let me keep the $40 discount on the sake i ordered with free delivery I'll takke that as a consolation prize :)

Here's to hoping QFF take the hit as a public relations positive

That’s about a $5k hit on Cruiser Elite’s order alone. 😜

Just saying if no discount was intended then the overall hit will be large, no judgement on anyone’s order.

Maybe just sack the wrong-doer at Qantas Wine (and leave the position vacant) and honour our orders. 😳

Wouldn't people just allow orders to be shipped, without drawing attention to it? I guess if cancellation emails come, that would be reason to call QF wine.

Yes you could do that - maybe is was a genuine discount and all will be good - but if not MEL are you suggesting QF Wine are that dumb this will slip by without being noticed? Happy to be guided by your advice?

Heard nothing as yet - but I do have a pretty good rship with QF Wine Manager - she calls me - I call her - if it’s real it will be real - if it ain’t I will inform ASAP

Surely no one here seriously thinks QF Wine don’t sit down Monday morn and seriously comb through sales volumes since COB Friday?

Phoning = bad idea. Let the workers start processing orders. By the time the big boss gets in it may be too late to stop.

Edit: Why attract unnecessary attention to our legitimate orders? What can be gained here?

If they are that good, then do they need our help?

Edit: Here's hoping that your order for 2 trillion gallons sneaks past them. ;)

The purchases should be honored as they were at finewineco.

I agree with you Mr the Kid* (*Google that)

But we live in a very fluid world - and as a consummate Politician I have listened to my constituents - phone call will be postponed until when and if purchasers receive correspondence from QF Wine cancelling purchases

It's fairly obviously an error in the listing price, more likely they meant to change the price on the piccolo size and not the 750 ml. With a hit to their profits of $25-50K (maybe more) it will be interesting to see what they do, but I would expect them to cancel orders. I hope they don't, I ordered 3 6-packs - but if I was running the show I'd cancel them all.
