I can see that NM is catching me up, but he's still 60 posts behind me...

Hmmm, Lindsay, you post frequency for the last two weeks has increased dramatically; you have had as many as 75 in the last two weeks; this is over 5 per day, some 7 times more than usual. So much more, that your average has increased from .74 per day to .77. My new year's eve estimate allowed for 50 posts over your average rate but you have already used that up and 13 more! :shock:

Hey Lindsay the difference is now 55 with almost 2 days to go.

If you post 5 times a day you will get to 1000 posts in 16 days time and if NM posts 9 times a day he will get there before you. I think the result will be over by around 12th October so anyone past this date is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of the hardest bets I have contemplated!!!!

Naah, Lindsay richly deserves the accolades for reaching that milestone first. I just post a lot of jibberish along the way. Besides, I would need a 2:1 posting rate compared with LW between now and 1000, and that's not gonna happen.

And until now, I had not even mentioned that I will be away this coming weekend so no posting from late Friday arvo until Sunday night for me.

So even though I am now 54 posts behind the grand master, unless there are lot of questions I can answer tomorrow morning, my count will be pretty static and sub-900 until into next week.

The closest thing to collusion was my SMS message to Lindsay earlier in the week telling him he was dropping behind and had some catching up to do. But that was part of my unsuccessful attempt to have him post enough to allow me to win the bottle of plonk 8) . Alas I failed :cry: .

15 Posts in the last 24 hours & Lindays Wilson is up to 90 in the last 15 days! His overall rate has increased to .78 per day.

Given the neo race being inferred all bets are off... :twisted:
