Well, only being 94 posts ahead of NM...I think it is all down to how much time we can spend on AFF and as oz_mark said, what threads are there where we can post information to...I'm not going to be posting to pad my post count.

May I suggest 2 prizes - first is one night with you, second is 2 nights with you!!!

Don't quite know how to take this infoworks :wink: . I am also concerned what my wife will think :roll: :shock:

Does that mean my original guess is invalid? Sufrely you are not going to change your AFF form to manipulate the results .

Posting is always going to be sporadic, as its the very nature of people who drop by here that we regularly travel. It just happens that my travel has been slower this last month that it was for the few months prior, so I have less unavailable time sitting on planes.

Perish the thought No, I am not going to manipulate the result (although I would love to see the right person win and benefit from the prize, perhaps a junior poster).

What else was there to do in the KL Hilton at night :wink: during your lengthy sojourn there - and now that you have caught up again with Mrs NM and mini-NM's; peace reigns in your household.

Yes, it is good to be home from those trips. 5 times to KL this year is too many times, as nice a place as it is. And yes, many of my posts did come from the KL Hilton .

Firstly, arun you need to go back to your post on page 1 of this thread and add in a time...otherwise you could fail to win the prize. Wouldn't want you to be disappointed.

By my calculations if you two continue these trends (and btw there are only 2 things certain in life and that is taxes & charges but that is for another thread ) you will reach 1,000 posts in ~146.5 days which would be ~24 Feb 2006 and NM would reach 1,000 posts in ~100.6 days which would be ~9 Jan 2006.

So my scientific theory proves that NM will reach the millenium first.

Based on my back of envelope calculations*, I should get to the 1000 posts in about 12 years time.

I don't nessassarily think that NM will beat you, more that it is a distinct possibility. As time goes by though, I think it less likely

Yes, its 914:824 at the moment, so your statistical analysis is correct. I thought that would be your greatest hurdle to overcome. But I'll be away Thursday/Friday next week in SYD and CBR with little acccess...heh, maybe I should wait for you and we can post our 1K message together!! A combined celebration.
