Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

Hi Flying CGK - KUL - LHR next month on Malaysian Airlines economy.
I have Qantas Gold status (one world emerald) does anyone know which (if any) lounges I will have access to in KUL (terminal M) and LHR (terminal 4)?? Many thanks :)
Hmmm ... Qantas Gold is oneworld Sapphire. (Emerald is Qantas Platinum)

Are you flying one way or return? If one way then no lounge at LHR and the following applies.

If Sapphire:
- CGK: If there are no oneworld carrier operated lounges then whatever (if any) Business Lounges MH makes available for sapphires travelling wirh them.
- KUL: MH & CX Business Lounges (In main and satellite)

If Emerald:
- CGK: If there are no oneworld carrier operated lounges then whatever (if any) Lounges MH makes available for sapphires travelling wirh them.

- KUL: MH First at Sattelite, MH & CX Business Lounges (In main and satellite)

Good afternoon all!

I am travelling on 26th March - Sydney to Dubai. Flying Emirates F on points redemption, current Qantas gold member. I am travelling solo however if I can guest someone into the SYD F lounge I will be happy too is this possible?

I believe they would have to be on the same flight as me is that correct?

If Sapphire:
- KUL: MH & CX Business Lounges at KUL (In main and satellite)
- LHR: BA Business lounges at LHR T4.

If Emerald:
- KUL: MH First at Sattelite, MH & CX Business Lounges (In main and satellite)
- LHR: BA First and BA Business lounges in T4.
I take it you mean the MH lounge at LHR T4?
It's been a while since BA had a presence.

I plan to travel on Cathay to Canada, however noticed that my Gold FF on QF will not be credited with points / credits. So I plan to use the my British Airways FF Blue Card when checking in however will I get access to the Lounges when I show my QF Gold Card?

Why won’t you get QF SC’s or points?
Are you travelling on an ineligible CX fare?

We're flying out of Dubai on a QF flight, Y class. I have Qantas club membership and travelling with my husband and 2 kids (under 10). It says online that I can take 1 guest (my husband), but do you know if I can take kids as well? I can in the Qantas Lounge in Sydney, but not sure if it's different because this is the Emirates lounge. Thanks

I'm tavelling out of Sydney in PE a couple of times this year on SQ.

Has anyone had any trouble accessing the SQ/NZ lounges in Sydney when crediting to a program with no status (i.e on boarding pass) and 'waiving' the app or *A gold card from another program to gain entry.

Trying to build up status in a more sustainable program after the United status match. Would prefer to skip the lounge if it risks getting credited to the wrong program.

Guys,

I'm confused about Emirates Dubai Business lounge access for QC travelling DXB>LHR and DXB>Adl on EK metal, QF ticketed in May 2019.

Qantas web site says yes.
Emirates web site never mentions Qantas Club access.

Any advise on what the current reality is would be appreciated.

Thanks
