In June 2018, I received an offer from QANTAS Business for 50% additional status credits with the following condition: 'If you change or cancel your initial qualifying booking and/or travel is completed outside the promotional period, this bonus offer will not apply.'
I booked a return flight to Toronto and New York from Melbourne in Premium Economy and had to change the date of departure and return, all within the eligible time period of June 12 and August 31 2018. I was told unequivocally that I would lose the 50 per cent bonus SCs. The booking number was xx_xx_. Consequently, I cancelled the flight as I was able to book a cheaper flight for the dates that I intended to fly and would get much the same in SCs.
Can you please clarify the impact of the condition for the current DSC promotion, as outlined above.
