Re: Classic awards showing without the need to check box?

This is obviously stage 2 of the booking system enhancements. Business class fares will only be bookable via the call center, on a 1900 number charged at $4/minute, between the hours of 3pm and 4:15pm on Thursdays.
Stage 3 of the QF booking system enhancements is that clicking a button on the QF web site will take you to the VA web site, so you can book a seat & class to where you want to go.

Economy or Business drop down box seems to be there now, under the main booking area, irrespective of 'secure content' choice.

So a fix on the fly.

"Gee Alan, I never travel business, so I didn't notice there was no choice to book business."

Not sure where you are seeing this but I still cant see anything that allows me to select travel class when looking to book a flight Melbourne to Brisbane return?

Its not there on the site 'landing page', where the booking thing is at the upper left, but after I log in, and the booking thing moves to lower right, its there.

Obviously Business is being reserved for QFFers only :)

LOL can see it now using firefox:D cant see it as an option on IE also why does a business class seat vary from $750.00 one way, $1001.00 one way and $1340.00

So it seems QF site functionality is dependant on whether you use IE and what version and or Firefox or other. WELL DONE QF no wonder you need to keep cutting costs with messes like this

Just when you think QF is gonna make their website that little bit better & they go & stuff it up again. Removing the J option is just plain annoying to have to swap between windows to compare fares.

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS QF

Wonderful browser compatiblity testing - not working properly in Internet Explorer 8 (on Windows XP).

Not working on IE9 either. If they are using a contractor, or even worse an internal team, for this then they need sacking and who ever at QF allows the go live button to be pushed should be pushed too

From the Flights form on the home page...

IE (v9.0.8112.16421) - no option to select Travel Class (either logged in, or out of QFF)
Chrome (v28.0.1500.95 m) - no option to select Travel Class (either logged in, or out of QFF)
Firefox (v23.0) - OK to select Travel Class

Didn't you know - all developers assume everyone is using Win8 with IE10 on 6Ghz multicore processors and 100 Gbyte ram.

Not working on iPad using Chrome. Cannot see any domestic J, only intl and then only when modifying a search.

We investigated reports of customers being unable to select different travel Classes on qantas.com this morning. This was swiftly addressed by our qantas.com team and appeared to be limited to some browsers and operating systems. If you are still experiencing this, please clear your cache (browser history).

Great. Can you just let us know which browser and operating system we should be using? After all, its up to us to chase QF's specs, not for QF to cover all those silly operating systems & browsers out there like Windows / Internet Explorer and iOS/Chrome.

Thanks Red Roo. So does this mean that the removal of economy and business bookings from one screen (for comparison during booking) is a permanent change?

Have cleared cache shut down IE9 and restarted computer and STILL having exactly same issue.

Red Roo what is wrong with your IT department every time they release something its a mess or is part of the QF cost cutting that was reported in the paper this week to use its customers as guinea pigs to test its IT systems.

NOT HAPPY
