I'm seeing some interesting results in N America on AA comparing AA code and QF codeshare:

DFW-SFO, WP in F:

AA: 3653 points/90 SC
QF: 3300 points/90 SC

SFO-JFK, WP in F:

AA: 6415 points/150 SC
QF: 7800 points/120 SC

SFO-JFK, WP in J:

AA: 5774 points/100 SC
QF: 6500 points/ 80 SC

Message: choose your flights carefully depending on whether your need is greater for SCs or points.

Someone may wish to double-check my results in case I'm losing the plot here.

I spot checked your last example and I concur. I thought it might be something to do with Business vs Flexible Business on the QF code but even the latter only scores 90SC.

Thanks for all the feedback so far. I'm glad to hear that our toughest audience is happy with the enhancement. ;)

While not all partners have been added to the new calculator yet, they will be rolled out progressively. As the calculator builds trips sector by sector, relevant city pairs will appear as more partners appear.

This includes our oneworld partner LAN, who we've just expanded our codeshare with: Qantas expands codeshare with LAN across South America.

Hope this helps answer some of your queries. Looking forward to sharing updates with you soon. :)

The AA flights make sense with the 100% WP loading and 50% for First, 25% for Business.

SFO/DFW just dips out on extra SC's being 1461 miles - another 40 and it would have been a better earning zone.

Maybe the next California earthquake will fix that :p.

Hooray at last multicity searches are back and yes much improved!

That sounds positive.

I don't think multi-city could have gotten any worse.

Actually, multi-city has got infinitely better. It appears as though there is no limit to the number of cities you can add. As well as being able to check on a xONEx itinerary it is useful for checking multiple point to point itineraries on the one page.

Have only used it a bit but so far it's excellent. Nice to be able to say - genuinely good job QF and QF's IT team.

Should have been ready on announcement or 1 July, of course....

Yes it seems to not let you delete the city in the field. Finally got Melbourne in, it selected AVV and would not let me change to MEL.

Exactly the same problem I had.
Checked the various Apps and they don't appear to have a points calculator yet.
Hopefully it's in the pipeline but it is a bit odd considering the reported reason for the website update was to make it mobile and tablet friendly.
Any Android users able to comment on the calculator?

It will be interesting to see how they handle some of the mielage-based routes far from home with partners. In the interim I would like to see AY loaded.

If you hold your finger down then click 'select all' with your finger, you can then type in the city name, and then select it in the drop down list. Slow but workable.
