Certainly proves that what I have posted has been garbage.

Almost finished Kiwi Flyer. Thanks for the formulae you provided.

Personally I think it looks quite good now. When you sort by $/SC it really gives a good guide of what the cheapest status runs are. There is a little bit of flexibility due to the fact that all the available Qantas routes are in front of you and you choose the routes that look best. Not as good as Steve's SCC but this spreadsheet has some benefits. QFF points are calculated for each route based on your QFF status.

If I have some time in the near future I may add airfares for full economy and business class.

Went from 0 posts to 52 posts (Senior member) in about 10 minutes sometime last month. All that was posted was "Hmmmm... very interesting" to some flybuys thread. Excuse was that pc went into a loop and took control of posting. :shock: Admin closed the thread and reset post count back to 2. Has not been heard of since unless using a different handle.

Reyla Lowup posted a brief comment ("Hmmm...interesting" or some such) not once, not twice, but around 50 times IIRC in one of the topics towards the bottom of AFF, then apologised, claiming his/her PC was looping. Hence there were around 50 consecutive identical posts, with all the others since having been removed. And in light of the post described below, the "Hmmmm...interesting" comment may well have been a rather sarcastic one.

And he/she put the boot into another poster in a rather troll-like fashion (comments have been edited out since) in another topic on AFF

I have seen the Hmmm, very interesting comment, but only ever saw the one. Must have been away or not paying attention at the time it happened.

I can't keep up with Dave's Stars, so I have simply resorted to using the letter n to represent any integer number one cares to attribute followed by a Star!

serfty, you know that the stars relate to me giving them to him...for everything that he does travel-wise for me that deserves a half or full star.

First started when he helped arrange our WT+ tickets (x3) for our honeymoon (third ticket was bringing Chief Bridesmaid over from LHR - instant AA Plat on LHR/MEL flight). That was his first 3 stars.

Since then, it's been about finding upgrades on QF, getting M-i-L ticket to LHR and instant AA Plat status, using points on AA from coach to First (and accompanying QF posting benefit), using his ExpertFlyer software. Wonder how high it can go?

I'm catching up with him for a drink on Thursday night at my hotel to talk about the QF AGM.

DSN. By Christmas Dave was up to 5 Stars.

And with my couple of duplicate posts in other places as my posting timed out and was resubmitted, I am climbing closer! And we know that the man himself is not going to be adding to his tally much in the next few days. But I am a polite man (sometimes) and a gentleman, so will have to avoid the duplicate posts for the rest of the week.

Current tally is LW 966, NM 933, so that's still a 2:1 requirement .
