Rather than trying to keep up with this deservedly increasing number I found it easier to use "n

Well, stars are important :) ... Perhaps when I reach 12 Gold Stars, I can move up to Platinum Star status :)

Maybe they are like EBay stars where different colours are given when you reach the next rung of the ladder?

Is there a Lifetime Star status?

I was thinking about lifetime star status but then thought better of it since that would then mean that I would have to have an annual requalification of stars so have determined that all stars are lifetime stars :)

And with my couple of duplicate posts in other places as my posting timed out and was resubmitted, I am climbing closer! And we know that the man himself is not going to be adding to his tally much in the next few days. But I am a polite man (sometimes) and a gentleman, so will have to avoid the duplicate posts for the rest of the week.

Current tally is LW 966, NM 933, so that's still a 2:1 requirement :D .
Current tally is LW 966, NM 936 and Lindsay seems to be be postusnongratus for reasons I cannot comprehend. Something to do with work.  Not sure what that means. :?

Go NM. You are our saviour. :D :D :D

I'll continue to back Lindsay. We all know that NM will do the gentlemanly thing. Don't we :!:

So can those of us already voted out of the game lay bets on who will win?

A few there looking good to win the prize :D .

Unless something strange happens, it's fairly safe to assume that the magic post will happen long before my prediction. :(

You got a hotel - - 1 star to you Lindsay Wilson
No star BlacKnox, I met up with Dave at my hotel in SYD Thursday night, not CBR. I stayed with my godparents on Wed PM (cheaper, just as nice as a SweetSleeper bed and free breakfast)...

Big day for you then with your work, the Qantas AGM, mini CBR FT Meet and Fully booked DH3 to SYD as well.
Quite correct. You forgot Sheraton on the Park SYD later that night...had 2 free coughtail with Dave Noble (but he didn't like the smell coming from the Blue Vein cheese on my cheese platter, so I had that all to myself in my room later). Notive Dave has climbed quickly to Senior.

Was lucky enough to be on the CBR/SYD flight with a number of well known people, completely full. I was in 1B, Peter Gregg (CFO, Qantas) and his wife across the aisle in 1C&D, Paul Clitheroe in opposite them in the backwards facing seat 1? and Ross Greenwood back in about 6D. The Hon. Bob Brown was also back there somewhere. Needless to say, Peter Gregg is a CL member (I saw his BP) :D

Craigo and Alan in CBR will be pleased to know that I commented to Peter that this must have been one of his required domestic flights that he must take (in acordance with that question from that pain-in-the-cough questioner at the AGM). He similed wryly.

The joys of travelling for work, JohnK. But I arrived back tonight and back into the saddle, posting...

Smell? Something had died under in there... was more evil than me :)

Sorry but I never saw anything honourary about someone in parliament so can never understand that term. Again not meaning to offend anyone that regards Australian politics seriously.  :?

Good to see you back in action Lindsay. I am sure you have been super busy but I never let work get in the way of the important things. :D :D

I remember seeing Ross Greenwood at the AGM, in the foyer of the Hyatt before and after the meeting. BTW, you might be interested to know that the three amigos of AFF/FT were on the ABC-TV Canberra news report on the AGM. I arrived home from dropping you and serfty off at the airport just in time to see it.

Also [pedantic mode on], Bob Brown is not "The Hon", he is just Senator Brown. "The Hon" is only for Ministers and Parliamentary Secretaries. Ministers retain the title for the time they are in Parliament, so Kim Beazley is still "The Hon". [pedantic mode off]

Good one. I'm sure that the senior execs must think AGMs are as much fun as a trip to the dentist.

And also means I got no hope.

I'm thinking somewhere from serfty through to danielh as those in contention now.

Intrigued as to why you would think the Great Lindsay Wilson owns a hotel.
