Didn't work for me.....I just got back from a Terry White Chemist, they checked my Medicare records (so much for a chemist not being able to check your medicare records) ?…
Let us know how it goes. Likely I can get one anyway with current medications but I’d rather not share my medical history with another random.I will try again out of interest more so than anything.

The Presser came late today. I think the state government may have access to some real-time data so those figures could include some vaccinations that took place today ahead of the presser. At the Vic Presser today it was indicated:
Mr Andrews: "90.5% of Victorians have now had a first dose, and 71.1% of Victorians aged over 16 are fully protected."If that is confirmed in the Federal update this afternoon, that will be a large jump from recent times on the first dose rate and different from the vaccination pattern of late where a lot more second doses were occurring than first doses.. And a decline in the second dose rate. Total doses still high.
and flush the idea of my local independant chemist. So, scratch Terry White. Flush that idea, now.

Though if those vaccinations did all occur yesterday, maybe the prospect of international travel being imminent may have convinced some of the hesitant to go out and get the jab.
A week or two ago, there was also a differential between ACT and Federal reporting. Some suspected it was out of town era/out of Territory skewing numbers and others suspect differences in denominator. AIR data might not match....etc etcSomething is astray between the Vic Presser and the Commonwealth for while first dose is higher, the second dose is lower than the Commonwealth' figures. If real time both should be higher.
Mr Andrews: "90.5% of Victorians have now had a first dose, and 71.1% of Victorians aged over 16 are fully protected."
Today's Commonwealth figures for Victoria: 89.93% first dose. 71.81% second dose
- 20th (reported 21st) 89.58% and 70.51%.
- 19th ( reported 20th) 89.21% and 69.28%
So first dose up 0.35%. Second dose up 1.30%. Which is the same recent trend.
If that second dose rate is maintained, or at least averages 1.17%, the state average will pass 80% for second dose 16+ on the Oct 28th. If so the horse racing fans (I am not one) will be happy. But off-grid camping here I come
Today's numbers released tomorrow will show VIC going past 90% first dose.
Nationally 75-79 is the first age group to reach 90% fully vaccinated.
Every age group 30-34 and up has reached 80% first dose.
In VIC every age group 16-19 and up except 20-24 and 95+ has gone past 80% first dose.
12-15's have gone up 6.08% first dose over the last week. And 8.42 % the week prior.Next week sometime it'll probably be every age group 12-15 and up past 80% first dose in VIC or maybe every age group except 12-15.
An increasingly desperate WA tries a raft of mandates to kick up a stalling vaccine program. Good idea IMHO.
But WA Premier Mark McGowan has attempted to deflect suggestions the move was in response to the state's sluggish vaccine rate.
WA is rolling out the nation's toughest vaccine mandate, and the rest of the country is watching with interest
As the WA government rolls out the toughest vaccine mandate in the country — with 75 per cent of the workforce to be vaccinated — many other states are likely to be watching on with interest to see how it unfolds.www.abc.net.au
Although voluntary compliance by these workers would be preferable to mandates, the inconsistent uptake of the vaccine leaves me, as the Chief
Health Officer, with limited options.
