Well, I have only got to this point following a bit of a last minute surge in October. Mind you I did requalify last year with around 260.
That's encouraging. I will proably get to about 600 SC's this year, so hopefully will get comped to Platinum for next year. Being first year of platinum perhaps this won't happen? Has anyone else been comped with only one years platinum status??

If you don't want to leave anything to chance, it's time for that Quick MR this weekend.

e.g. Flexi-Saver return to Kalgoolie for $580, Red e-deal return ADL for $500.

Is it worth it? It's up to you ...

I opted for the grovelling email approach :)

October isn't yet complete, but based on flown to date and some planned domestic flights the next few days ...

October only

47 flights
75,393 flown miles

YTD

190 flights
373,346 flown miles
52 nights (4+ hours) spent on planes

47 flights in a month is an incredible amount of flying.

Airline pilots are restricted to about 90 "stick" (flying) hours a month. How many did you (KF) fly?

Dunno. Must be at least 150 (based on rule of thumb 500 miles per hour), but I think quite a bit more than this since I had several short hops in there too (it takes over 30 minutes to do a 80 mile flight for example).

My YTD flying is about what a longhaul FA would do.

Dont rack up nearly as many as my fellow countryman KF but my travel log for this YTD:

56 segments
78,858 miles
All Economy
Mainly all Pacific Islands Travel
Carriers:
QF
FJ
NZ
IE
CO
PH
Includes 1 trip to PER (4pax + INF) paid for with QF points, during School Holidays. LAST TIME

PS, no longer a posting Virgin, my mother will be proud

I'm done and dusted for October. All flights were on red jets. :D

How do you guys figure out your YTD's (without copying and pasting all your monthly webpages together in MS Excel)?

So I'm skipping the YTD, too much effort.

Nov - 5658 miles, 8 flights

either excel or simply add to the previous months ytd figures

Can't imagine any more flying between now and the end of November.

PER/MEL
MEL/PER

....and off to a new year of SC collecting....

First entry, November travel:

29 NOV 06 QF 460 MELBOURNE/SYDNEY
26 NOV 06 QF 463 SYDNEY/MELBOURNE
20 NOV 06 QF 460 MELBOURNE/SYDNEY
20 NOV 06 QF 405 SYDNEY/MELBOURNE

18 NOV 06 QF 118 WELLINGTON/SYDNEY
16 NOV 06 QF 047 SYDNEY/WELLINGTON

Not much flying, but managed a few upgrades (3 domestic & 1 out of Wellington)

Currently 570 SC, targeting 1200 by 31 May 2006 to retain WP. Behind the run-rate, with not much travel in the offing. I think I need a good Perth trip!
