SeatBackForward said:I don't think I'll even be able to do that my bookings for 2007 are likely to be:
1) HKG>BOM with CX, Discount Economy = 20 points
2) HKG>SYD>HKG with QF, Discount Economy = 60 Points (maybe three trips in the year)
So thats only 200 points. I may put in short hops between HKG and BKK too, but that wont get me over the 300...
Oh well, it will be fun while it lasts (until the next time)

SYD-DUD on SJ
DUD-SYD a few days later.
No miles, no status points, just the pleasure of flying in economy forward of the wings for $99 each way plus taxes. Dunedin is a quaint airport, just one runway which doubles as a taxiway, and all around is deep green grass which must surely be grazed by the stock visible in adjacent paddocks once they shut flying down for the day. They have a jetway, but it's not in use, and the deckhands push a set of stairs up to the arriving aircraft.

They have 2 international flights a day most days - I can't imagine it to be a drug couriers central hub.
