Interesting its a day flight to WSI and night flight from WSI.
Presumably to take advantage of no curfew and a different offering to SYD.
Looks like booking was originally supposed to have opened even before 18 March? With regards to all the naysayers talking about “well it’s just a commitment, the airlines haven’t confirmed they’ll fly from WSI”, look at what’s popped up on the SQ desktop website. Special launch fares coming soon?
The link leads to a 404 error for now but it looks like it’s ready to go live soon.
I'd need an award flight to get to WSI ...Time to redeem some awards!

Depends. Other than for some possible startup costs, are the ongoing costs any cheaper than SYD. Remember this has been built as a 2nd full service airport not a low cost operation.Only a matter of time before the low costs jump in.
QZ from DPS to SYD a more likely candidate. Indonesia still has capacity on their side of the bilateral (even though they are disadvantaged against the Australian O&D.Only a matter of time before the low costs jump in.

With the remote stands on both sides of the terminal QZ could easily save money on aerobridge gate usage.
