We're Apple Watch ready, and excited to introduce the newest version of the Qantas App.

You can learn more, and meet the team behind it's development here: Qantas app for Apple Watch | Qantas

Would love to hear your feedback, especially once it's live. :)

I would love to review this for you Red Roo. Just PM me and I will give you my address, so that you can send me the Apple watch :)

Hopefully you won't suggest buying an Apple Watch from the Qantas Mall for bonus points, because we all know how that can work out

Agree - Android should already have been developed and in production and you don't need 2 Apple proprietary devices to make it work (Apple phone + Apple watch).

I love my LG Watch R :)

+1 for needing an android and samsung watch app also. they have been out for years....

I have a Sony Smartwatch 3 and would love to see this made available for Android wear... ;)

Why not put the development effort into sorting out the shoddy website that 99% of your customers yse, rather than some gimmicky watch that 0.1% (if that) of your customers will use? Talk about not being able to get priorities in order at this company!

I don't disagree that scare resources are better spent making what you have already work properly. However I love Mr Fm's watch. It was a Christmas gift from our son and I was rather sceptical to start with ( and am certainly not rushing out to buy one for myself), but I think in a few years time it will become quite mainstream.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I've noticed some pretty positive changes to the website lately. The booking engine shows classic awards, Y and J all on the same screen for dom (hopefully International shortly!), I feel the awards engine has been modified slightly to offer more routing options for long haul flights - eg LHR via PER or ADL on EK if direct is not available, and less "i"'s for the long haul legs in Y. I like the new MMB too.

Now if only it was easier to book multi city trips, I find the price is hugely different just for the convenience of not having to book one small (1-2hr) connecting flight back to the original city - eg flying into LHR and out of CDG etc. Or when PE return to JFK is 3.2k and LAX is 3k, but book it to JFK and coming home from LAX even on one PNR it treats it as two one ways.

I've given up on an Apple Watch with 18-hours of battery, and will be buying two Pebble Time's for chicka and I, with 7- and 10-days battery life. Would love a Qantas app for that watch.

The app preview looks good though!

I'm jealous.

Will the app work once I put my iPhone in flight mode?

You can turn BT back on while in Flight Mode ;)

Apple doesn't have the assets needed to meet my payment requirements to use an iDevice of any sort.

Ah. So this is what they were on about at the 'tech savvy' workshop. No wonder there was a NDA.

+1 to what Daver6 said.
