LOL update for Qantas app just came through on Windows Phone. Let's see if it works now

Have you had that skin spot on the left of the watch checked out ?...just to be on the safe side. I had a BCC removed from the same place a couple of years ago
Thanks Major. I do get checked out. At a SCC removed in 2014. (Cheek) getting another check shortly.

Any truth to the rumour that the Qantas apple watch app comes with an optional needle to automatically update blood alcohol readings for RSA purposes?

Sounds like most in this thread will think me a sucker, but I have pre-ordered an Apple Watch and am looking forward to getting it. I'm glad there is a Qantas app for it and particularly like that the new app will have baggage carousel info. It would be a nice addition if it provided the option of sending a quick "I've arrived at ..." text to my husband when I land, after confirming my GPS location!

Sounds to me like Watches of Switzerland are a little worried.....

Agreed. Dunno who in marketing signed off on that, but reeks of desperation.

And at least get the name right...it's not called iWatch.

I disagree. "Real" watch aficionados will always go with the quality and style of a well made watch of quality. The difference is that in 10,20,30 .... years time the real watch will still be going.

Let's be honest, the Apple watch will have a lifespan of two years if you're lucky!

The iPhone product cycle is around 6 months...

I have a "few" watches. Some now over 5o years old. They don't go out of fashion.
