Normally it's the marketing teams that manufacture inflated RRPs. This time perhaps it's well heeled wine snobs supporting a $100+ price tag. Very keen to find out for myself where this wine is at!

It blows me away that it was available at this price to begin with. Remember though its identity is masked and not everyone will know it’s Stonewell. The discount of $120 down to $40 in percentage terms is beaten by many other Vinomofo offerings, Cask 66 for example.

I hear you, but It's not really masked when they have it as the number one Identified wine in the The Minotaur Case - Premium Shiraz Mix placed next to it on a landing page...

It looks like I'm going to have to make a "Save Shiraz" t-shirt inspired by Ferris Bueller's Day Off "Save Ferris" movement.

Somehow I think it is a better wine than cask 66.

I think they had about 900 to start with, now down to 600 cases left.

I managed to get $25 GIFT25 applied via my broker on Wednesday when I got an email from her.

I agree, & think the Stonewell might be a better wine, despite the discount differential - due to RRP of Cask 66 being $1million or thereabouts. Bit of a twist, because awhile back on here, I defended the right of Maverick to set RRP's eg for Ahrens Ck Ancestor Vines shiraz 2021, whereas others thought them unjustified - but I do think Hewitson is one where the RRP's aren't generally reflective of what went into producing the wine (another obvious contender would be Penfolds, once you get above their $30 or $40 offerings). Probably just my personal taste, a Hewitson being one of (very few) wines I've returned to VM.

They usually don't have codes during specific promotions/sales. I'm guessing the timing and amount of a code after that depends on how well the sale went.

Are these codes coming from VM, or external coupon provoders? Perhaps I've changed my communications preferences, because I used to be notified but haven't received same for quite awhile. Unless it's something since the VIM Black thing, which itself doesn't seem to offer any better deals, beyond the generous birthday & anniversary $ voucher.

I was severely tempted but with boxes and boxes of good (and poor) quality shiraz I simply can't buy anymore. Also, both me and my wife's preference has moved away from big bold reds to lighter styles.

The first rule of vinomofo voucher availability/source is that you don't talk about where these come from lest you want the opportunity to potentially be shut down.
