Coming up in a few weeks I have a FJ booking BNE-LAX arriving 1300 then connecting onto a direct AA.com booking at 15:30 to LAS in first from T4. I have been through LAX many times, I have MPC as well as ABTC. The next available aa flight is 4 hours later.

Thinking about my options if I miss the connection due to late arrival, I've since found this AA saleslink policy which I am thinking can be my additional backup

Separate Tickets

oneworld re-accommodation

When a customer is holding separate ticket(s) on AA to/from a oneworld carrier in the same or separate PNR/Order, they should be treated as through ticketed customers.

In the event of a disruption on the originating ticket, the carrier responsible for the disruption is required to reroute the customer to their final destination.

Has any had experience calling upon this?

PS: I'll also be hoping BNE FJ can issue a through checked baggage tag which allows me to collect the bag and redeposit the bag in TBIT allowing me to use the airside tunnel to T4.
